UQU President Signs ICRS Initiatives to Achieve National Transformation Plan 2020

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas signed on Monday Shawal 23, 1438 H at his office at the university campus in Abdyia the contracts of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies (ICRS) initiatives to achieve the National Transformation Plan 2020 including; an initiative to create Training Center for Risks and Crises Simulation and Occupational Safety Assurance (SAFE) and the initiative of developing skills of health practitioners. Those two initiatives were approved to achieve Kingdom Vision 2030 and National Transformation Program 2020.  Present in the signing ceremony were UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou, Dean of ICRS Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari and the Institute's Vice Dean for  Professional Accreditation Support Dr. Sahl bin Abdullah Waheeb.  

 

Following the contracts signing ceremony, Dr. Assas congratulated the Institute for wining these initiatives which will contribute to achieving National Transformation Plan and keeping pace with the Kingdom Vision 2030 in upgrading quality of health services, safety systems and crises management. He added that ICRS is one of the mainstays of creativity in the university for including several highly-qualified experts, academicians and consultants in the mentioned fields. He  said: Thanks to Allah in the first place and then to the support attached to the university by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the heir apparent HRH Prince Mohamed Salman for achieving such excellence appreciating also the follow up and interest of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah Prince Khalid Al-Faisal and his Deputy Prince Abdullah bin Bander bin Abdul-Aziz in addition to the support of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-eesa, thus enabling the university to achieve such excellence in all its colleges, institutes, and its academic, training and consulting programs.  

   

For his part, the Dean of ICRS Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari said the institute opens its gates and harnesses all its potentials for the sake of the nation and to provide whatever contributes to building the Maakhan community in particular and the nation in general, and he lauded the support attached to the Institute by the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and  for  providing it  with all means to advance the community.  

 

It's noteworthy that Risks and Crises Simulation and Occupational Safety Assurance is intended to provide specialized experts in offering consultation and training in the field of safety systems and industrial safety in the Kingdom and GCC Countries in addition to building an integrated system for research and development in the field of safety and security and risks and crises management. 


Whilst the initiative of developing skills of health practitioners is intended to boost quality of  health services and provide the easiest means which help the institutes  contributing to the ambitious development plans. Those two initiatives will provide the top professional and outstanding services for all citizens, residents and visitors of the Grand Mosques  in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
