UQU starts the first stage of admission for the academic year 1438-1439 A.H. in all disciplines and departments at the university's headquarter in Makkah, as well as in its branches at Al Jumum, Al-Lith, Adham and Al Qunfudha, totaling more than 199 academic departments. UQU offers over 225 academic fields in line with labor market requirements and the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. Admission is open on UQU’s unified online portal from next Monday, Shawal 9th, to Wednesday 12/10.1438 A.H.

Dr. Assas hailed the support by the government, which has enabled UQU to prepare classrooms and labs in accordance with the highest specifications and standards adopted in education. This will enhance learning outputs of graduates who will avail the labor market of their all acquired skills to serve their homeland and community. He also applauded Prince Khaled Al Faisal’s support and follow-up of the admission process and the university’s programs. In addition, Dr. Assas commended the Education Minister Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa for his directives whereby UQU has secured the excellence in various fields.

“All the technological and human potentials are used for admission to the academic year 1436-1439A.H. via the university’s unified online portal,” added Dr. Assas, “Admission applications will be received based on the plan approved by the Supreme Committee for Admission, where admission stages are adopted according to applicable rules and regulations. Admission is open to all the B.A. programs offered by the university, including direct admission to theoretical disciplines, the Preparatory Year program in medical, scientific and administrative fields, the preparatory and qualification year evening program, diplomas offered by community colleges, community service and continuing education; at UQU Makkah headquarter and its branches at Al Jumum, Al-Lith, Adham and Al Qunfudha.” He also hailed the endeavors of Vice-President for Educational Affairs Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Srouji Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim Al-Samadani, and all their teams.

In turn, Dr. Al-Samadani said, “Admission to UQU for the academic year 1438-1439 A.H. passes through several stages on the unified online portal. The first stage starts next Monday, Shawal 9th, to Wednesday 12/10.1438 A.H. During this period, admission applications will be received and disciplines are chosen. No application for “attending” will accepted after. Then, the second admission stage begins, where applicants are interviewed as stipulated by certain disciplines, from 15 to 19/10/1438 A.H. After that, the results are announced and nomination for a discipline is confirmed via the admission online portal, from 1 to 5/11/1438 A.H. Dr. Al-Samadani also noted that applicants admitted for the preparatory year will sit for a placement test from 21 to 23/11/1438 A.H.

In addition, Dr. Al-Samadani stressed, “After that, non-admitted applicants will have another opportunity to apply through the preparatory and qualification year evening program from 14 to 21/11/1438 A.H. Later, results will be announced and nomination for a discipline will be confirmed from 28/11 to 04/12/1438 A.H.” Then, he wished every success for students seeking admission at UQU this academic year. He stressed the importance to comply with admission dates via the unified online portal, which have been detailed in the admission manual published on the university’s website. Finally, Dr. Al-Samadani expressed his thanks to Dr. Assas for his support, while noting the efforts of all admission teams to make it successful.
