The UQU President, Dr. Bakri M. Assas, has condemned the notorious failed terrorist attack that targeted the Grand Mosque on Ramadan 29, 1438H. He lauded the colossal, valued efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior and security forces, to the effect that the attempt was aborted - thank Allah!

He went on to say, "This country is honored by serving the Two Holy Mosques, and the guests of Allah hailing from all over the world. No matter what the enemies do to undermine our safety and stability, this country will remain as great as ever, thanks to the consolidation of its leadership and people." By targeting the Grand Mosque, Dr. Assas stressed, terrorists have overridden the redline.
Regardless of the wicked efforts exerted by those criminals to undermine the national unity, Dr. Assas added, this country is, and will continue to be, blessed with unity and consolidation under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He reiterated that the unity and consolidation of the Saudi people is the real, impenetrable shield that protects, and - Allah willing - will continue to protect our beloved country, that takes on its shoulders protection of the tolerate Islamic faith, and stands firm in the face of subversive acts.
Dr. Assas commended the unremitting exerted by the security men, who are read to sacrifice their lives for the sake of preserving the stability of our country, and diffusing the spirit of tranquility among the citizens and residents.
Concluding his statement, Dr. Assas prayed for Almighty Allah to protect the Kingdom and perpetuate its safety, stability and prosperity, and to protect and guide the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman. He prayed for Allah, also, to support and guide the security men.
