Consulting Research and Studies Institute launched in Makkah on Thursday Ramadan 13, 1438 H workshop of Safe Partners' Focus Group, which is reckoned an initiative to create Training Center for Risks and Crises Simulation and Occupational Safety Assurance (SAFE), one of the approved initiatives to achieve Kingdom Vision 2030 and National Transformation Program 2020.
Safe Partners' Focus Group is aimed at setting vision and ideas which will help in making strategic work plan for the center with the participation of constellation of directors and supervisors in the fields of security, safety and risks and crises management in a number of public and private sectors institutions. The workshop witnessed discussion of main four themes including; latest developments and changes in the field of safety, crises and risks management in Saudi Arabia between reality and expectation, priorities and programs of building safety system and risks and crises management in addition to the basic roles of Safe center.
After completing discussion of the mentioned above four themes, a group of programs and projects were proposed to be implemented by Safe center in collaboration with the involved bodies.
Meanwhile, Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari explained in his speech that the workshop comes in continuation of the university's endeavors represented by the Institute to serve the community, science and knowledge and introduce all means to provide developmental consultations, research, educational and community services besides the occupational training programs relevant to safety and security and all other fields which in turn will help in increasing level of safety in the public and private institutions alike.
Concluding his speech, Dr. Al-Shaari extended his thanks to the wise leadership for the continuous support provided for the educational march in the Kingdom. He also extended his thanks to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his diligent follow-up and lasting keenness to upgrade and advance the community.
