President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas handed out graduation certificates to 26 officers from the commanders of the Facilities Security Forces Training Center in Makkah after completing training course of "Leadership and Management Skills" organized by the UQU represented by the College of Community Service and Continuing Education in the period from Jumada Al-Awla 22 until Sha'ban 22, 1438 H. This came upon receiving at his office in Abdyia commanders of the Facilities Security Forces Training Center in Makkah led by the acting commander of the Center Maj. Sweileh bin Abdullah Al-Montashiri and his accompanying delegation. Present in the meeting were the Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Khalid Yousif Barqawi and the College Vice Dean and the Head of Training Center Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi.  

During the meeting, Dr. Assas said the university is delighted to cooperate with the various sectors of the Ministry of Interior adding that celebrating graduation of this batch of the officers of Facilities Security Forces in Makkah is reckoned a continuation of the role undertaken by Umm Al-Qura university represented by  College of Community Service and Continuing Education and realization of the university's third objective of serving the community. He then lauded the role undertaken by the college in this respect.  

Within the same vein, the Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Khalid Yousif  Barqawi stressed that the college under the directives and close follow up of UQU President is very keen to fulfilling its mission in serving   the community with its civil and military sectors using all its capacities to achieve the university mission in serving different sectors of the community in the country.

For his part, the College Vice Dean and the Head of Training Center Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi said this course was organized by the college  over three months from Jumada Al-Awla 22 until Sha'ban 22, 1438 H and included a number of programs in Leadership and Management Skills for the commanders and officers of the Facilities Security Forces Center in Makkah. He added that the course will be followed-Allah willing- with a number of training courses in the field of crowd management, languages of the Islamic nations. Computer and technology for the affiliates of the Facilities Security Forces and other sectors.
