The Clinical Technology Department of the College of Applied Medical Sciences has organized on Sunday 25/08/1438 A.H. a ceremony to honor faculty members who have concluded their work in the department for their outstanding efforts during their office to improve education, as well as their diligent passion to help students.
At the beginning, Head of the Clinical Technology Department Dr. Basem Al Sharif hailed the efforts exerted by the honored colleagues during their office, noting the support and attention paid by the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Science to attending the ceremony, in addition to the College’s Vice-Deans.
Dean of the College of Applied Medical Science Dr. Ahmed Ashshi extended his appreciation to the Head of Clinical Technology Department for such outstanding initiative to honor faculty members. He applauded the efforts exerted by faculty members whose circumstances prevented them from renewing their contracts with the University, and wished them every success. He also hailed the role played by the department, its education quality and graduation outcomes. In the same vein, he commended the appreciation shown by officials of hospitals where appointed students and graduates of the department receive their training. “This is the aim of UQU under the patronage of UQU President Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas.”, added Dr. Ashshi.
At the end of the ceremony, Prof. of Anesthesia Technology Dr. Ayman Hussein Fahmi Kahla, Associate Professor in Emergency Medical Services Dr. Essam Mohamed Mahlab, and Emergency Medical Services Instructor Prof. Essa al-Najjar were honored. They received memorial shields and valuable symbolic awards for their outstanding efforts during their offices. They all were wished every success in their academic and practical endeavors.
