As part of the community initiatives offered by the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, in cooperation with Al-Qunfudhah University College, the Department of Emergency Medical Services held a training workshop entitled: “First Aid”, for the UQU students. The workshop aimed to spread and raise health awareness among community members. Moreover, it acquainted the attendees of the ways to facilitate rapid intervention and to save a person’s life before medical assistance is provided.

The workshop was offered on Tuesday, 28 Safar 1443 A.H., by Prof. Ashraf Abdul-Azhim Owais, Professor of Public and Occupational Health, and Dr. Saeed Hamid Rami, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medical Services.
