By the grace of Allah, the researcher Laila Al-Juhani defended her PhD thesis entitled: “The Impact of University Education on Urban Growth in Jeddah”, on Thursday morning, 1 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1443 A.H., and obtained an “Excellent” grade.

The defense committee consisted of the following staff members:

• Prof. Mervat Khallaf as a supervisor.
• Prof. Nuzhah Al-Jabri as an internal examiner.
• Prof. Abdul-Hafiz Samarqandi as an external examiner.
