Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou launched on Tuesday Sha'ban 13, 1438 H a training program for 30 employees from the university administrative leadership organized by the Administrative Development Unit in collaboration with Leadership Studies Center in Riyadh under the title "Leadership 101". The opening ceremony which took place at the Hall of the Deanship of Development and Quality at Abdyia University Campus was attended by the Director of the Administrative Development Unit Mr. Fahad Al-Sharif.

Meanwhile, Dr. Shoushou explained that the program is intended to build administrative leadership of the university and qualify them according to scientific bases to keep pace with the developmental process of the administrative programs in the university in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. He then lauded directives of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas to develop administrative system focusing on scientific and practically qualified leadership and staff, pointing out that the program will be carried out in five levels including three different scientific programs related to developing administrative work in accordance with the university educational and research climate.   

He added that at the end of each level the trainee will take e-test to measure level of  his interaction with the training package. He said that the first stage will be devoted for the first rank of university leadership, and then the second rank in the next stage, wishing them all success and lauding the efforts exerted by the Director of the Administrative Development and all members of his working team.
