The Department of History at the College of Shariaand Islamic Studies, represented by its Head (Dr. Ibrahim bin Ateiyah Al-Salmi) launched a hashtag for the service of Makkah Chronicle titled #New_Sources_of_Makkah_Monuments_History.
In the opening tweet, Dr. Al-Salmi wrote, "In the Name of Allah, we launch this hashtag for the service of Makkah history with new and unambiguous studies and research… In another tweet, he went out of traditional hashtags, saying:
To reach the maximum number of those interested in the new sources of history and monuments of Makkah, the hashtag will be launched in multiple languages (English - Spanish - French - Persian).
It is worth mentioning that the hashtag received great interaction from all segments of society.
