On Sunday, 12 Safar 1443 A.H., corresponding to 19 August 2021 A.C., the Department of Mathematics held an activity entitled: “The Safe Return Initiative”, under the supervision of the activity coordinator for the female section, Dr. Olfa Al-Allaq, and in the presence of a group of female students (20 students).
This initiative aimed to educate female students on the precautionary and preventive measures in face of the coronavirus pandemic. The initiative also aimed to urge the students to take the vaccine in order to successfully achieve national immunization goals for individuals and the community and prepare for safe in-person attendance for the students at the headquarters of Al-Leith University College. Moreover, awareness-raising brochures, sterilizers and safety equipment were distributed to help facilitate COVID-19 prevention.
