Fatima Salah Al-Din Al-Aqeb Yousef, the role model of Shari'a College for the academic year 1437-1438H who studied at the Department of Shari'a, ranked first in UQU Role Model Contest. The event was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and was finalized on Wednesday, 7th Shaaban 1438H.
Dr. Ghazi Al-Otaibi, Dean of the College, expressed his thanks to Allah, the Almighty, for the student's win. He said that Allah favored the College with a group of male and female students who won awards in student competitions this year, which was no novelty in the oldest Shari'a College in such blessed country. He also thanked the working committees in the male and female sections, Dr. Fahd Al-Maliki (Coordinator of the College), Dr. Fatima Al-Luqmani, as well as all male and female vice-deans and department heads who contributed in such achievement.
On the other hand, Dr. Izdihar Madani, Vice-Dean of the College, expressed her happiness with the advanced ranks of the Shari'a colleges in UQU Role Model Contest. She added that such success was because religion and adherence to it raised one's status religiously and worldly.
In the same context, the Coordinator of the College at the Girls Section expressed her full delight with Fatima's undoubted win.
It is worth mentioning that the student has a Qur'anic License, and is a story writer.
