Dr. Mohammed Hendeya, Head of Mass- Communication Department, Faculty of Social Sciences, in the presence of the faculty staff members opened on Tuesday 19/07/1437 H, “Media Corners” fair by mass-communication department students, at Jawhara Hall, the female students building.

The fair included participation by students in all media fields including journalism, video, how to develop media campaigns, how to deal with the social media, how to differentiate between propaganda and advertisements and also showed some models of media publications realized by the students as part of their school curricula.

Dr. Mohammed Hendeya, Head of Mass- Communication Department, pointed out that the models and works made by Mass-Com students that he saw at the fair are a living proof of their creativity and prominence in the media field, if they get a good opportunity. He praised the role they played and added that these fairs aim to refine the students’ talents. He extended his thanks to HE UQU President, Dr. Bakri Bin Matouq Assas and Faculty of Social Sciences Dean, Dr. Mohammed Bakr for their support of all activities and programs of the department, and to the staff members for their continuous follow up and the care they give to the students.
