Wadi Makkah Presents its  Significant Achievements and Future Aspirations before University Leadership

CEO of Wadi Makkah Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Al-Alaf revealed company's five-year plan which will depend on investments in all fields, pointing out that subsidiaries of Wadi Makkah company were established in the fields of communication, information technology, real estate, publishing, printing, and distribution, embracing and accelerating entrepreneurship, consultancy services, and others. Additionally, he said 10 startups were launched with technology products exceeding 23 in accordance with the kingdom vision 2030 in the field of public investments. 
    


This came during an introductory meeting for the UQU Vice Presidents and Departments Heads held at the company's headquarters at the university campus in Abdyia in which Dr. Al-Alaf said the company's market sales exceeded the geographic boundaries under slogan of " Made in Makkah" and he praised support of UQU President, the Chairman of Wadi Makkah Board of Directors Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas and the efforts exerted by the acting UQU Vice President for Business and Innovation, who serves also as the UQU Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service Dr. Hani bin Osman ghazi, thus enabling the company to achieve excellence in several fields.    

 

 For his part, Dr. Hani Ghazi said more than 39 patents were registered in the United States of America as part of 150 patent requests submitted by the University Intellectual Property Office responsible for registering university patents. After obtaining the patent certificate at the international level, he added some of these patents can be invested by Wadi Makkah as a startup to be sponsored by the company. 

 

He then lauded support and directives of the UQU President, the Chairman of Wadi Makkah Board of Directors. He also praised UQU Vice Presidents and heads of the departments for accepting the invitation to check on the latest achievements made by the company.

 

On this occasion, the UQU Vice Presidents lauded the achievements made by Wadi Makkah Technology Company in various fields for acquiring market share locally and extending towards international market through its products and technologies.  

 

After that, the UQU Vice Presidents and Heads of the Departments toured through the e-sensors factory, where they listened to an elaborate account of the work methods in the factory and how e-sensors work. It followed that they viewed a presentation on Wadi Makkah startups and the technology products they offer. Those companies include; Indoor Navigation Company (Navibees), Smart Cities Company (Averos), Medical Technologies Company (Softcare), Tawseel Company, Digital Data Analysis Company (Lucidya), Medical Laboratories Company(BioKubes), and Smart Control Company (Breez).
