Designing a National Character Using Manga Style

Digital drawing is a type of drawing using a graphics program instead of the traditional method of drawing. Digital artists draw on a tablet or laptop using the stylus. The Japanese Manga is a comprehensive term for the Japanese comics, which are used in comic books in North and South America and Europe. Mange includes a limitless variety of types and styles, such as science fiction, historical books, and movies. In this exhibition, some Manga characters were designed by the creative students of the Department of Graphic Design while preserving the Saudi identity, in an interesting attempt to study global arts and create visual arts with a national character.
