3 Anthropometric measurements: / • Weight and height measurement for adults, pediatrics, elderly people and handicapped (routine, factors affecting anthropometric measurements, techniques.) / • Interpretation of weight and height for pediatric (growth charts)
4 Body composition: / • Definition of body composition (component of body composition) / • Circumference measurement (head circumference and mid arm circumference (MAC) for pediatric, and waist, waist to hip ratio, and MAC for adult) / • Skin fold thickness (to estimate subcutaneous fat and lean mass)
5 Body composition: / Other procedures to estimate body composition (such as: underwater weighing, bioelectrical impedance, DEXA, …etc) / • Interpretation of weight and height for adult (body mass index (BMI), ideal body weight (IBW), % of ideal body weight (IBW), % of usual body weight (UBW), % of weight changes) / • Frame size measurement
