4 Establishing the context: gathering information and field survey
5 Risk assessment: Risk/hazard identification (use of hazard identification tools such as historical data, checklists, audits, inspections, organizational charts, issues logs, ICE, Fishbone diagrams, Delphi, HACCP, HAZOP , PHA, SWIFT and scenario analysis
6 Risk assessment: Risk analysis (An introduction to qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative risk analysis techniques and their strengths and limitations). / qualitative (consequence likelihood analysis), / semi-quantitative (Nomogram, risk profiling, risk ranking tools such as Dow, Mond, Substance Hazard Index) / Quantitative (statistical analysis, probability trees) risk analysis tools will be discussed. / Job safety analysis and Fault tree analysis
7 Risk assessment: Risk evaluation as outlined in ISO31000:2009 - Risk management Principles and guidelines. The importance of context with respect to the evaluation process with be discussed and a detailed, cost-benefit model
