3 Steroids: Introduction, classification, nomenclature, structure elucidation, synthesis, and applications. / Examples: Sterols (cholesterol) – Sex hormones: Estrogens (estradiol), Androgens (testosterone) and Gestogenes (progesterone) - Bile acids (cholanic acid)
