The 13th International Exergy, Energy and Environment Symposium (IEEES-13) is an initiative aimed at bringing together the academicians, researchers, scientists, technocrats and practicing engineers in the confluence between several related disciplines ranging from energy to environment.
IEEES-13 themes include but not limited to
- Activating the role of universities in contributing to confronting energy and environmental challenges and contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
- Elaborating the recommendations stipulated by the G20 Summit in its fifteenth session, headed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regarding energy and environment.
- Strengthening Umm Al-Qura University's leadership role in community service and scientific research and establishing a link between researchers around the world.
- Investing local and international resources to find scientific solutions to energy and environment problems at the local and international levels.
- Raising the level of the national scientific contribution to facing the global challenges of energy and the environment.
- Reviewing scientific solutions to meet energy challenges such as gas emissions and sustainable alternative energy development.
- Developing the research partnership between Umm Al-Qura University and the public and private sectors.
