Committee Tasks:

  • Provide scientific consultation, reports and considered proposals to the university council regarding the development of curriculum and study plans.
  • Study the general bases for development and assessment of the curriculum and study plans.
  • Approve curriculum and study plans for both the term and the year.
  • Provide consultation to the university president based on reports of the departments and colleges councils regarding the following:
  • Extend of execution of curriculum and study plans.
  • Requirements of Colleges regarding the faculty members and teaching assistants.
  • Annual plan for writing university books.
  • Educational means.
  • Books, references and journals.
  • Any other relevant tasks assigned by the university president.  
  • Follow-up latest developments curriculum and study plans on the local and international levels.
  • Prepare guides and forms which achieve distinct and development performance in preparing curriculum and study plans along with fulfilling requirements of  the National Center for Academic Accreditation & Assessment.
  • Help colleges and departments prepare programs and study plans in line with requirements of the development plans and choose suitable means.
  • Propose new mechanisms for developing curriculum and study plans.
  • Follow-up development of curriculum and study plans by colleges and department.
  • Supervise curriculum and study plans development processes.
  • Coordinate with representatives of relevant bodies to organize workshops and training courses in curriculum and study plans.
  • Labor market engagement to obtain proposals which enhance integration between curriculum and labor market requirements.
