Praise be to Allah Who created the human from an `Alaq (a clinging substance; a blood clot), and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, to whom his Lord addressed the divine words: “Read, in the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists)”. (Al-`Alaq 96:1)
To Proceed ...
It should be obvious to every insightful person endowed with an enlightened heart that no religion has cared about seeking knowledge and information more than our great Islamic faith. Islam is a religion entirely perfect and complete in all its aspects - no matter how simple or complex they might be. Part of this perfection is related to its ideal methodology for knowledge acquisition and searching for information. Enough evidence of this, among the countless pieces of evidence, is the following Saying of our Exalted Lord: “Say: Behold all that is in the heavens and the earth.” (Yunus 10:101) Also Allah's Statement describing the debate of His Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) with his idol-worshipping people, which was very masterly and marvelously handled by Prophet Ibrahim, [through which he illumined his people and showed them the error of worshipping idols and images]. “And that was Our Proof which We gave Ibrahim (Abraham) against his people.” (Al-An`am 6:83)
Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also instructed Zaid ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) to master Hebrew, the language of the Jews, to achieve perfect competence [in the assignments handed to him] through advancing himself in knowledge and exploration. Therefore, the Department of UQU Journals, represented by its director and personnel, is pleased to provide this organizational guide to all researchers, of all categories and different scientific departments, to act as a substantial incentive and a powerful motivator to work diligently at writing and publishing scientific papers. The department will do everything in its capacity to eliminate any possible difficulties or obstacles that may encounter every serious, complete research proposal.
We ask Allah (the Glorified and Exalted) to help us fulfill the aim to which we aspire, render smooth and easy the path to perfection in our actions, and make us dedicate every deed that we do purely to our Lord alone.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Allah Almighty for His Countless Blessings and Constant Grace. I then extend my thanks to our rulers, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his faithful Crown Prince.
I finally extend my thanks to the President of our prestigious University, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and His Excellency the Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, for the great interest they have shown in the UQU Scientific Journals.
