The University Medical Center provides primary therapeutic and preventive health services to all students and staff of the university and those eligible for treatment at the University Medical Center, through a group of general and specialized medical clinics, as well as supporting medical services, as follows:

  1. Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of acute, chronic, communicable and non-communicable diseases in some basic medical specialties.
  2. Provision of first aid for critical and emergency medical cases, followed by transfer to the nearest hospital affiliated to the Ministry of Health with emergency and intensive care departments.
  3. Referring cases that need to rest after conducting the tests and diagnosis to reference hospitals to complete the necessary treatment, because of the lack of integrated clinical medical departments or wings for sleep or operating rooms.
  4. Provision of routine laboratory tests and some advanced tests.
  5. Provision of CT scan and MRI services, in addition to x-ray and ultrasound scanning.
  6. Provision of pharmaceutical care to the visitors through providing necessary medical drugs, and explaining the method of safe use, for the treatment of diseases that are diagnosed and treated at the University Medical Center.
  7. Provision of some preventive services including basic vaccinations and preventive campaigns.
  8. Provision of laboratory testing services to the contracted academic staff and overseas students and register them through a system to complete the procedures for obtaining the residence permit.
  9. Participating in international health events and days to spread health awareness and educate visitors on ways to prevent disease.
  10. Keeping the medical information of the visitors through the e-clinic program, which also allows the visitors to pre-book appointments electronically through the university website.
