Message from the Deputy Head of the Department

- 2019/11/12

All praise be to Allah, Who taught by the pen. He taught man that which he knew not. And may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon he who was granted pithiness in speech, and was the most eloquent. To proceed:

By the grace of Allah, the courses of the Department of Islamic Studies have a wealth of sciences, full of useful information that consolidate the spirit of religion and promote the concept of moderation and the midmost course, not to mention that these courses provide scientific foundation which makes up the personality of the female students to be enlightened with knowledge of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

It is a great blessing that the department includes a group of qualified faculty members, who seek to move up the ladder of civilization and cognitive advancement to achieve the desired goals of creating conscious women leaders who disseminate knowledge with its original values, derived from the principles of the Islamic identity based on the Qur'an and Sunnah.

The department also prides itself on having a variety of targeted programs that provide students with a range of Shari`ah, scientific and cultural materials. In this department, the students study the most honorable sciences, such as the Holy Qur'an, the Sunnah and its sciences, Shari`ah sciences, like jurisprudence and its principles, and creed sciences and their branches of religions, doctrines, and sects. The department provides diversity of knowledge that includes Islamic culture at all levels. The students race to this monumental scientific edifice and its sciences that are taught based on the methodology of Ahl Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jama`ah (the followers of the Sunnah and mainstream community), and the understanding of our righteous predecessors (may Allah be pleased with them).

Allah willing, through the above-mentioned we can counter the attacks of the cold wars that produce intellectual extremism, kill cognitive awareness, and undermine the spirit of tolerance, harmony, love and concord that our Saudi society enjoys.
