This accounting program was set after developing and modifying its content. As it was presented in the Faculty of Community Services and Sustainable Education at Umm al-Qura University to meet the requirements of the Community College of Mecca. Given the comprehensiveness and flexibility that distinguish the community colleges programs in order to adapt to the needs of the individuals, community, and the need for human development as the program has been designed to help the graduates of the high school and its equivalents to obtain a diploma in the accounting that empowers them to work in both governmental and private sector with all its branches such as Banks, hospitals, hotels, Hajj and Umrah agencies, professional accounting offices for auditing the companies, etc.
The program has been also designed to enable the student to pass the scholarship examination presented by the Saudi Organization for Chartered Accountants or its equivalent in the world. The program courses also contained accounting software to introduce the software used in both public and private sectors to the student, and courses in the English language to develop the language skills of the student in general, and in the language and terms of the specialization in particular.
The program also has been associated with the jurisprudence of financial transactions through the subject of the jurisprudence of financial transactions which is presented by specialists in Islamic economics at the University. And also introducing the business systems, business accounting, and some skills of the art of communications and information technology to the student to, as important common subjects required in all the community college programs.
