Group Development and Management Tasks:

  • Corresponding with colleges to ask for providing the needed sources of information.
  • Searching for the newly issued publishers’ lists.
  • Collecting and indexing lists and excluding what is repeated.
  • Providing book fairs with the required materials.
  • Establishing procedures for some items that have immediate priority.
  • Asking book suppliers to provide the Deanship with a list of new books, electronically categorized by subject.
  • Sending the lists to colleges, the deans, and members of the technical committee to follow-up.
  • Sending a copy by e-mail to the member of the technical committee and the college.
  • Uploading the lists on the Web.
  • Informing the beneficiary through means of communication (e-mail, mobile) of securing the book that was requested for purchase.
  • Receiving the selected titles from colleges.
  • Indexing.
