Any institutional work involves the documentation of all the procedures and tasks undertaken in the institution. This is in order to keep track of the technical and administrative work, and help each employee in the institution to identify his job and the tasks entrusted to him. Moreover, the documentation also helps to foster the achievement of the goals that have already been planned, and ensure that the ideas and goals do not change with the change of the head of the institution; it can be fairly said that documentation gives a sense of stability in the institution.
The team benefited from the strategic plan developed by the deanship over a period of time, and the vision and message outlined through this plan have been agreed upon. They also availed themselves from such vision and mission, as well as the administrative structure and description of the technical tasks and procedures implemented in the university library to document the current workflow.
