Overview

The Audit and Follow-Up Department consists of two divisions working in an integrative manner to perform the tasks assigned to the Department in coordination with the rest of departments at the Vice Deanship, in order to achieve the goals of the operational plan of the Vice Deanship. It also procures the requirements and necessities of work to its divisions, and seeks to make a continuous follow-up on work and to evaluate the performance of the divisions’ affiliates. The Department encompasses the following divisions:


Audit Division

Its functions can be summed up as follows:

  • Ensuring adherence by the Deanship to the financial laws, bylaws, instructions, and procedures, and checking their adequacy and suitability.
  • Auditing, analyzing, and the organizational plans of the Deanship and the extent of clarity of authorities, responsibilities, tasks, and specialties.
  • Auditing, analyzing, achievement levels comparing with the goals set in the strategic and operational plans.
  • Auditing the work of warehouses and inspecting their books, records, and documents, as well as checking that inventory, , and methods of storage are conducted in accordance with the legally applicable rules and procedures.
  • Participating in interim and permanent committees that are within the Vice Deanship, in accordance with work requirements.

Coordination and Follow-Up Division

Its functions can be summed up as follows:

  • Contributing to updating and developing the procedures of the Department’s tasks in cooperation with the entities of the Vice Deanship and the Deanship, especially the Planning and Quality Department.
  • Preparing the periodic and annual reports on the coordination and follow-up tasks of administrative work.
  • Participating in interim and permanent committees that are within the Vice Deanship, in accordance with work requirements.
