Overview:

The continuous development, innovation and Islamic principles are at the heart of the established values of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, where the faculty members are keen to integrate these values with each of their courses to graduate batches worthy of leadership and development. All faculty members are dedicated to imparting fruitful learning experiences to students during their bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotel Management. These experiences could convey knowledge, interaction, continuity, teamwork, sustainable self-development, leadership and innovation in work to the students.

The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management at the College of Business Administration was established to fill the gap between the academic study and practical life in the field of tourism and hotel management.

The Department seeks to update the knowledge and experience conveyed to students by applying the system of field visits and continuing student training and lectures by experts in this field, along with active learning methods, and the invitation of the world famous professors to participate in teaching.

 

 

Vision:

To qualify cadres distinguished in the practice of administrative work in the fields of tourism and hotel and supervising the work in tourism institutions and hotels efficiently and effectively.

Mission:

The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management endeavors to reach its students to excellence in the field of tourism and hotel management.

 

 

Objectives:

1- To provide students with necessary knowledge and skills to enable them after graduation to practice the administrative work in the fields of tourism and hotels.

2- To supervise the work in tourism institutions and hotels efficiently and effectively.

3- To prepare national competencies and human cadres capable of working in the field of management and marketing of tourism and hotel services.

4- To support the needs of the Saudi community of these competencies and to be an important contributor to international tourism and hotel companies.
