Duties of the Advisory Council

  1. Developing and discussing new ideas and presenting them to the college council or the academic department to discuss the methods and possibility of putting them into practice.
  2. Considering the difficulties and the problems that encounter work progress in the college or the academic department in general, and discussing them to help the college or the department in solving them.
  3. Considering the topics and projects consigned by the college or the department to the Advisory Committee, and seeking to develop a plan and a mechanism to carry them out.
  4. Helping in presenting an independent evaluation of the outcomes of the college or the educational programs of the college from the viewpoint of concerned graduates, in both public and private sectors.
  5. Representing the local community in expressing their views about the policy of admitting new students in the college and the academic program in a way that represents the geographic distribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the actual needs of the program.
  6. Working as a direct link between the college or the program and country leaders and decision makers through direct relations, as far as possible, to convey the true image of the scientific and human capabilities of the college or the academic program as well as the actual needs required for development.
  7. Considering and helping to develop modern training and educational programs in the college or the academic program to inform the community about these programs and the extent of their effect on the community services. This is to promote confidence between the beneficiaries and those responsible for implementing the college educational programs.
  8. Participating positively to remove obstacles in order to be able to carry out the plan of the college or the academic program to offer field training to the students. This is to achieve its goals in the different stages.
  9. Helping in evaluating the results of the agreements concluded between the college or the academic program from one side and the different communal institutions from the other side, and also helping to overcome systematic and administrative obstacles, as far as possible, through direct personal interaction in order to achieve the research and educational goals and serve the community.
