All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of all Prophets and Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
Graphic design is an integral part of different areas of life. A graphic designer creates everything that is visual, whether it is static or dynamic. This is to provide meaningful and effective content for all groups and individuals of society, whether the content is informative, guiding, aesthetic, commercial, or a caricature.
A graphic designer can collaborate with any specialist in any field, whether it is a design field; such as fashion designing, interior design, industrial design; or other general areas, such as health, technology, business, sports, education, engineering, etc.
Due to the effective role a graphic designer plays in society, the bachelor's program in the department has been prepared to include all the courses that help prepare a successful designer familiar with all branches of graphics. This ranges from creative thinking, theories of color, and art history, to more in-depth courses, such as advertisement design, logos, books and publications, websites, packaging, photography, animations, fabric design, and manual and automatic printing. There are other courses, including: montage and press publishing, organizing standing and mobile exhibitions, and designing guide boards.
Thus, male and female students graduate being fully aware of all aspects of their specialization. This gives them the opportunity to continue to advance in this field, and build their career path, whether they are academically or business oriented.
In conclusion, I would like to remind you that the journey of creativity begins with our love and passion for what we make. So, always remember the words of our beloved Prophet (may peace upon him), "When one of you does any job, Allah loves that they do it perfectly."
I wish you an academic career full of creativity and achievements.
