  1. The student has a responsibility and plays an effective role in the success of the advising process by reviewing the department’s guide for academic advising and learning about the requirements of all program courses and the department’s controls for registration. This is in addition to the importance of requesting guidance and advice from the academic advisor regarding the selection of courses that are commensurate with the student’s level and with the type and number of courses that have been added to her schedule for this semester.
  2. The student can become acquainted with her academic advisor by referring to the academic record on the student’s academic portal. When making a request for an appointment, the request will be "pending" until a response is obtained from the academic advisor, either by confirming the reservation or by arranging another appointment (in case the same appointment was booked in advance with another student). The student will receive the advisor’s response by e-mail, where she will be provided with the meeting link on the WebEx or Microsoft Teams program.
  4. Anytime you contact the academic advisor, it is necessity to provide the advisor with the following:
  • Academic record (which shows the student’s semester and cumulative performance).
