The Department of E-Learning Systems is responsible for the e-learning systems in the department that are designed to help academic staff members and students to engage in the educational process at the university using electronic curricula as well as supplementary activities of traditional teaching. The department is also tasked with providing technical support services to students and academic staff members to facilitate how they interact with the systems, and also with providing the required support for booking e-learning labs, conducting e-tests, and monitoring servers and databases.


Being a pioneer in attracting and developing the best e-learning systems on the national level, which achieves distinguished scientific results.


Dedicating the techniques of e-learning and distance education to support academic staff members, contributing to the distinguished teaching, promoting students' success by designing ideal learning systems, integrating different educational techniques, and managing and promoting institutional education management at the university.

  2. Spreading the culture of e-learning and providing the academic staff members at the university with the skills needed for learning and teaching.

  4. Providing technical support to the users of the e-learning systems by providing a comprehensive system.
  5. Supporting the means of spreading the culture of e-learning by providing the most modern techniques.
  6. Continuously developing the infrastructure of the e-learning systems to keep pace with the developments of educational technology and improve the outcomes of the educational process.
  7. Developing archiving and backup systems.
  8. Developing the infrastructure of the training and e-learning laboratories at the university.
  9. Developing an integrated e-testing system.
