Quality Assurance Department

This department is tasked with ensuring total quality in all educational and administrative affairs of the deanship and employing all available capabilities and resources in order to offer supportive services in line with the academic quality and accreditation standards.

 

Tasks:

  1. Supervising preparation of institutional and program accreditation plans and requirements;
  2. Proposing forming teams and committees from the department's divisions for quality assurance and accreditation project;
  3. Recommending the most proper assessment and accreditation bodies for the deanship to receive institution and software accreditation from;
  4. Supervising and following up on accreditation and quality assurance project, and coordinating the work of the project teams.
  5. Providing the final for institutional and software accreditation;
  6. Preparing periodic reports on department's performance;
  7. Undertaking any other tasks assigned to it.

 

The department comprises the following divisions:

  1. Accreditation and Quality Assurance:
  1. Observing and analyzing successful experiences in the field of academic accreditation and quality assurance;
  2. Setting plans for institutional, software, and administrative accreditation;
  3. Preparing and developing quality model for the deanship;
  4. d- Managing deanship quality affairs through the committee of accreditation and quality assurance;
  5. e- Writing periodic and closing reports to follow up on the quality assurance management work and give the deanship insight on it;
  6. Writing and reviewing regular and annual self-assessment reports;
  7. Undertaking any other tasks assigned to it.

 

  1. Improvement and Support Division:
  1. Spreading culture of quality amongst the deanship staff
  2. Proposing improvement measures based on the regular and annual self-assessment reports from the accreditation and quality assurance;
  3. Cresting surveys and data collection tools related to measurement and assessment of quality assurance processes;
  4. e- Helping all deanship's departments apply quality standards and complete self-assessment processes for the deanship to acquire academic accreditation;
  5. e- Preparing and conducting surveys for the beneficiaries from UQU colleges and community organizations in order to assert the rewarding community participation, which can help develop the deanship's contributions;
  6. y- Developing a mechanism to identify UQU faculty members' and students' expectations, requirements, and level of satisfaction with the deanship services;
  7. Communicating with the Deanship of University Development and Quality for advice and brief it on the deanship's status in respect of quality;
  8. w- Writing regular progress reports to the department;
  9. Undertaking any other tasks assigned to it.
