    You shall refer to the website of the IT Deanship to restore the password of your university mail; it is the same password of the E-Learning Portal.
  • I can't Login to the e-learning portal.
    1. Visit the e-learning portal on the following link: https://elearn.uqu.edu.sa2. On submitting the username, which is the email, you must ad the (S) letter as following: S43xxxxxxx3. When you type the username, it is typed without additions [email protected] Type the password correctly, which is the password of the University’s email, and double check the writing language (English or Arabic).   • How to activate the mobile Number on the e-Learning System?
    You can add the mobile number by following these steps: 1. Log in to the e-learning portal. 2. Click the small arrow next to your name at the top of the page. 3. Choose from the list the introduction file. 4. Write your mobile number in the blank space in the format: 96656 96656xxxxxxx5. You will then receive a confirmation message on your mobile. Put it in the code’s confirmation space, then save and close. After implementing the previous steps, your mobile will be ready to receive SMS.
  • Do you have any training guides to help me use e-Learning portal?

  • The female students cannot login to virtual classes using laptops.
    The issue may be with the browser or the update of the student’s device. Students can try more than one browser, such as Firefox and Chrome in order to solve the issue.   • Some students managed to login to the virtual classes, but there found sound problems.
    Please make sure first that the sound on the device is working, then make sure the sound is not on mute. Next, make sure that the sound icon in the virtual course is in green not gray. You can change that by clicking on the icon.
  • How to register for distance education at Umm Al-Qura University?
    In UQU, there is the option to register in the affiliation or regular programs, and currently, there is no distance registration. For more information on this issue, communicate with the Deanship of Admission and Registration on the following link: https://uqu.edu.sa/dadregis/App/Contact
  • How can I set a condition not to open a file before completing a survey, for example?
    Carry out the following steps: 1. Open the course and go to the content then mark the required file. 2. Click on the small arrow next to the file and edit properties. 3. Underneath the file there is the option to add dates and entries. 4. Click on add dates and entries. 5. Go directly to conditions of issuance then click create, and from the window that will come up, choose the condition type. 6. Specify the condition type by going to polls then choose complete attempt to participate in poll. 7. A new list will come up. Choose from it the poll you previously created then specify the number of attempts. 8. Click on “create” button. 9. Before exiting, click on “update” button. 10. If you chose “anonymous” (making results anonymous) in “poll properties”, you will not be able to create this entry.
  • I cannot create virtual classes through the e-Learning Portal.
    Please carry out the following steps: 1. Open any course. 2. click on “virtual classes” at the top of the page. 3. Choose “accounts”. 4. Left click on the account’s name to open. 5. Delete password and reenter it. 6. Save.
