Mission:

To contribute to human development at the university through the provision of promotion services and job competitions with high efficiency.

Objectives:

  • To carry out promotion procedures in accordance with regulations and bylaws.
  • To implement promotion procedures electronically and in a short period of time.
  • To develop job competition procedures to ensure equal opportunities among the applicants and nomination of the most efficient of them.

Duties:

  • Procedures pertaining to the promotion and wages clause of administrators and employees.
  • Procedures pertaining to promotion to the higher ranks.
  • All the procedures pertaining to job competitions for administrative jobs.
  • Procedures pertaining to transfer to Umm Al-Qura University from another body.
  • Procedures pertaining to the appointment of martyrs' families.
  • To modify and raise the level of jobs to address job freezing in administrative promotions.
  • To review all the documents authenticated by the university's in-charge officials.
  • To disseminate promotions to the university's employees in two periods during the fiscal year.
