Mission:

Offering outstanding administrative services to the Saudi academic staff of the university affiliates, and the like, to enable them to carry out their duties.

Objectives:

  • Carrying out all decisions pertaining to the Saudi academic staff and the like, in accordance with regulations and bylaws.
  • Carrying out all decisions pertaining to the academic staff and the like electronically, in a very short period of time.
  • Making the beneficiaries from the members of the academic staff and the like more content.

Duties:

  • Appointment of the Saudi academic staff and the like.
  • Transfer of the services of the academic staff and the like.
  • Promotion of an academic staff to (Associate Professor) or (Professor).
  • Partial transfer of academic staff members and the like.
  • Secondment of an academic staff and the like.
  • Postponement of the sabbatical leave of an academic staff.
  • Grant sabbatical leave to an academic staff.
  • Contract and renewal of contract of the Saudi academic staff who is due to retire.
  • Referral of an academic staff and the like to retirement after reaching the statutory retirement age (60 years), or after the end of the extension period.
  • Referral of an academic staff and the like to early retirement, upon his request.
  • Extension of the service of an academic staff upon reaching the retirement age.
  • Decisions regarding disbursement of allowances for not working in the private sector outside of work time for medical professions and overtime allowances for working in the hospital to the academic staff and the like.
  • Decisions regarding disbursement of overtime dues to the academic staff and the contracting parties from outside the university.
  • Decisions regarding disbursement of retirement dues to the academic staff.
  • Decisions regarding disbursement of computer allowances.
  • Decisions regarding disbursement of the remuneration allowance of the colleges' councils, and decisions regarding disbursement of the remuneration allowance of the departments' councils.
  • Decisions regarding compensation for the end-of-service leave of an academic staff.
  • Decisions regarding exceptional leaves.
  • Decisions regarding sick leaves, childbirth leaves, maternity leaves, waiting period leaves (after husband's death), bereavement leaves (for the death of a first to third degree relative) and accompanying one’s spouse leaves.
  • Decisions regarding compensation for childbrith leaves during the summer vacation.
  • Decisions regarding disbursement for research projects.
  • Issuance of decisions regarding (internal) or (external) transfer for academic staff and the like.
  • Disbursement of rare specialization allowances.
