First: The academic year 1439/1440 A.H.
The Council of the Curriculum and Instruction Department held twenty-one sessions during the past academic year (1439/1440 A.H.). These sessions dealt with many issues related to students, such as registration of dissertation topics, postponement, cancellation, formation of discussion committees, and granting academic degrees. The agenda also included the discussion of issues related to the academic staff members, such as academic sabbatical, promotion, and conferences, as well as some issues related to the design and development of educational programs.
Second: The academic year 1440/1441 A.H.
The first session of the Department Council was held on Monday, 11 Muharram 1441 A.H. The meeting dealt with the registration of dissertation topics, granting academic degrees, re-enrollment of students, and formation of the department committees.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrifi, and the college vice deans. In the course of the meeting, His Excellency urged the male and female members of the department to work hard, demonstrate continual performance improvement, help and care for students, and provide an attractive learning environment for them. His Excellency also heard some questions from the council members.
