An Overview of the College Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs

The College Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs, at the College of Business Administration, supervises all academic programs in all departments of the college.

The Vice Deanship seeks to improve the educational process, according to the university’s study and examination regulations, through the roles assigned to it. These roles focus on monitoring the progress of the educational process in all the departments of the college, following the established bylaws and regulations. It also verifies the availability of the appropriate educational environment for the male and female students and the academic staff.

The Most Prominent Duties of the Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs

  1. Supervising and following up the elements of the educational process (students, professors, and courses).
  2. Supporting the academic departments in implementing and developing their programs and plans.
  3. Supervising the preparation of study schedules and the registration of college students for the undergraduate level.
  4. Coordinating with the Deanship of Admission and Registration to accommodate the academic divisions.
  5. Supervising the requests for study deferment and apologies, and handling students' academic problems.
  6. Achieving academic coordination with other university colleges.
  7. Supervising the grievances submitted to the Student Rights Committee.
