In 1429H, due to the University's expansion and subsequent development, and because of the big aspirations required from the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality, the Vice-Presidency of UQU for Development, Academic Accreditation and Community Service was established. This coincided with the University's commitment to apply comprehensive quality to its various activities.
In 1439H, the Vice-Presidency of UQU for Academic Development and Community Service was merged with the Vice Presidency for Business and Innovation in one Vice-Presidency, under the name of the Vice-Presidency for Development and Business entrepreneurship, with adding the duties of the later.
The Vice-Presidency of UQU for Academic Development and Community Service cooperates with other UQU entities to prepare and supervise the implementation of development plans in various domains in line with the University's vision and mission. It also follows up performance assessment and quality control, depending on tools and subsidiary entities.
