3-2 Umm Al-Qura University Award for Excellence in Scholarship

The award aims to motivate the university’s staff on scholarships abroad or internally to exhibit excellence and creativity during their scholarship. The aim is to motivate them to obtain a master’s or doctorate degree from highly rated reputable universities that contribute to raising the level of the scientific qualifications of university employees and to publish in publishing receptacles with high impact coefficients. This is to contribute to raising the university’s ranking in international rankings in order to achieve its mission and goals.

Conditions for Applying for the Award

1. In order to apply for the award, the nominee must be a faculty member and the like who has obtained a scientific degree (master’s, doctorate, fellowship, or subspecialty) in the previous or current academic year,
2. The candidate should be a principal researcher in all the research submitted to the award, if there are published research papers.
3. The reference of the researcher registered in the affiliation repository should be Umm Al-Qura University.
4. The research should be published during the scholarship student’s study.
5. The candidate must have obtained the scientific degree without applying for any extension in the master’s stage or without applying for any exceptional extension in the doctoral stage.
