On Wednesday, 23/06/1438 H, UQU College of Dentistry for Girls celebrated the graduation of the second class of the academic year 1438 H at the ground floor auditorium at 12 pm. The event was held under supervision of Vice-dean, Dr. Sarah Wajdi Tahir in cooperation with the public relations unit; and was attended by faculty members, staff, and female graduates accompanied by their mothers.
The ceremony commenced with a welcoming introduction by Ms. Safaa Taminm, followed by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Next was the graduates’ march. The vice-dean congratulated students and their mothers, noting that these delightful moments of success are the fruit of the hard work and efforts made by the second class of Dentistry College, wishing them more success and happiness in professional and academic life.
Tamim concluded her address with extending thanks and appreciation to the UQU President and the college dean for their continuous support to UQU students. She also thanked the organizers of the ceremony, wishing them the best of luck.
Later, advanced students and their mothers were honored and presented with souvenirs. The top ranking student of class, Dr. Ghaydaa Sebhi gave an address on behalf of her graduate peers. The graduates then took the oath, led by Vice-dean Dr. Sarah Wajdi Tahir. The ceremony concluded with cutting the cake made for occasion.
