As part of the annual open meeting organized by the Vice Deanship, the Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuous Education has met female faculty members, staff and employees on Tuesday, 26/4/1438 Hijri in the meeting hall. The meeting was broadcasted through closed-circuit television (CCTV) and was attended by the College vice deans, heads of departments, faculty staff and employees.
Dr. Zeinab bint Mohammed Al-Khedr Al-Qadi, Vice Dean, started the meeting by welcoming the Dean, on behalf of all staff members and employees, and expressed her gratitude for his precious time and attention.
The Dean, Dr. Khaled bin Youssef Al-Barqawy, then gave a speech thanking the Faculty Vice Dean for organizing this meeting that comes in line with the approach to activate open discussions on different academic, administrative and developmental issues. The main drive of holding these meetings is promoting the college role, delivering its message and enhancing its contributions to the society, he confirmed.
Dr Al-Barqawy highly praised the great achievements made by the Faculty over the last three months and the huge efforts exerted by all vice deans for developing the work mechanisms. The Faculty is especially proud of all efforts exerted in the female students divisions to help the Faculty carry out its aspired role in the University and the Society, he added.
Then, discussion was opened for attendees to share their suggestions, ideas, comments and questions that were answered clearly by Dr. Al-Barkawy.
Dr. Jameela Salti, College of Community Service and Continuous Education’s Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, closed the meeting by her speech in which she welcomed the Dean and expressed her, and her colleagues’, deep gratitude for his interest to keep contact with the Faculty staff and listen to their ideas and demands.
Finally, under the sponsorship of the Dean, Dr. Rabi’a bint Salem Sajini was honored for completing her tenure as Deputy Head of the Programs Department and a celebration was held for the promoted employees.
