The Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, Prof. Tawfiq Al-Sharif, in the presence of the Head of the Training Department, received the Supervisor of the General Administration of Cybersecurity at Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Sultan Al-Mutairi. The meeting aimed to discuss some of the proposed initiatives to interact with the ‘Makkah Cultural Forum’ for the year 1442 A.H., which was held under the slogan: ‘How to Be a Role Model in the Digital World’. The forum was organized by the Emirate of Makkah Province, under the auspices of His Highness the Governor of Makkah Region, the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.  

The Dean of the College welcomed Dr. Sultan Al-Mutairi and stressed the importance of cooperation between the university sectors to provide useful and fruitful programs in the service of the country and the citizen.

Afterwards, the Head of the Training Department, Dr. Saleh Al-Furaih, held a meeting with the supervisor of the General Administration of Cybersecurity, in which the initiative proposed in this context was discussed. The meeting ended with a vision about the form, broad lines, and the framework of implementing the initiative, which will be launched during the celebrations of the 90th National Day, next Thursday, corresponding to 07 Safar 1442 A.H., at 9 PM, Allah willing.
