The second meeting of the Vice Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah was held on Thursday, 3 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H. Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazmi led the meeting at the college auditorium at 12 p.m., in the presence of the Assistant Director of Administration, Ms. Nabila Al-Qahtani, the Advisor to the Vice Dean, Dr. Huwayda Al-Sayed, and all female official employees.
At the beginning of the second meeting, the Vice Dean gave a warm reception, welcoming everyone and thanking them for their efforts. In her speech, she also reminded them that they are the key players in the success of the institutions, and that the college seeks to achieve leadership, excellence, quality and their goals, according to the set strategic plan. She urged all female staff to work with a team spirit under a coherent system to achieve the college's vision and core objectives. The functional charter was explained: the objectives and their formulation, and how to calculate their percentage according to job title under the "Structural Decisions".
In the same context, competences were discussed; the concept of each competence was determined and the degree approved for it, as well as the distribution of tasks for each employee. This is in order to keep the administrative staff informed, and to explain the important points of the employee functional performance on which his career promotion depends. Consequently, employees will perform their duties in a regulated and clear manner; their achievement will be fast and of a high quality. Another discussed issue was related to the approval of a monthly "Excellence Award for the Best Employee", based on specific items of a certain scale and the decision of an approved committee.
At the end, she thanked everyone for their interaction and responsiveness to the instructions, advice and opinions, praying to Allah to grant success and guidance to all.
