Dean of University Studies for Girls Honors Committees Participated in the Breast Cancer Campaign

The Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi on Thursday Muharram 26, 1438 H,  honored the committees participated in the National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign organized by the Deanship Cultural Committee, in collaboration with the Zahra Association with the participation of several deanships and colleges from in and outside the University of U mm Al-Qura. The Event took place at the female headquarters in Al-Zahir.


The celebration commenced with a Quranic recitation, welcome poetry then a poem by a female student about the breast health to be followed by a filmed movie titled "Messages of Umm Al-Qura University Academics". After that, the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi delivered speech in which she expressed her pleasure for the permanent cooperation with the Zahra Breast Cancer  Association, and for organizing several activities, awareness lectures, various programs that contributed to increasing health awareness of the female students and university affiliates.


Concluding her speech, she extended her thanks and appreciation to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for the keen interest and support he is  attaching to the Deanship of University Studies for Girls, and also to Zahra Association and all those participated and contributed to success of the campaign. She also praised the Deanship of Students Affairs for Activities and Students Training and the Public Relations and Media Department for their noble efforts in making the campaign a success,  and she prayed Allah to protect everyone from all harm.


She was followed by the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls for Educational Affairs Prof. Shaikha bint Saud Ashour who praised participation of all deanship and colleges and thanked them for the noble efforts they have exerted.


At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of University Studies for Girls honored the participating committees with memorial shields and appreciation certificates and the sweet was served on this occasion.
