The mother of Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery and former Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Hospital Affairs, Dr. Sulaiman Jastaniah, has passed into Allah's Mercy. Her Funeral Prayer and burial will be conducted today, after Maghrib (Sunset) Prayer in Makkah.

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Abdul-Salam bin Abdul-Rahman Nour Wali, and the College Administrative Manager, Mr. Omar bin Ahmad Bazar`ah, and the college academic staff and employees extend their deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

We ask Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His vast mercy and forgiveness, and bring comfort and solace to her family and friends.

"Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return."
