On Sunday, 2 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., corresponding to 9 December, 2018, a training course was held at the College of Islamic Studies. It was presented by Dr. Mundhir Al-Hamzawi and Dr. Isma`il Marhaba, the college's certified trainer. The topic of the course was "How to Use the E-Learning System."

The course was held in coordination with the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education. It discussed the concept of e-learning, the environments and tools of e-learning, the e-learning process models, the e-learning portal (Ta`allum), its most important tools, the facilities it offers the students, and the content of the e-learning system home page.

After completing the theoretical aspects of the course, the trainers explained how to access the e-learning portal and the educational course. They also discussed the various tools used by students when dealing with the e-learning platform, most importantly the content tool and the delivery folder tool, along with the discussions and grading sections.

At the end of the course, they explained the e-exams system and how they are run. Advantages offered for the benefit of the student and the teacher were highlighted and the virtual classes system was also explained.
