The Deanship of University Studies for Girls Campus in Rea Zhakhir was honored by a visit from Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuly, the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs. She attended a meeting of the female students that included activities for the "Be Happy" initiative launched by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University, on Tuesday, 12 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1440 A.H.
Her Excellency was well received by Dr. Salwa bint Muhammad Al-Muhammadi, the Vice Dean of University Studies in Rea Zhakhir; Dr. Basmah Malibari, the supervisor of the departments of the Arabic Language College; Dr. Ulwiyyah Siyami, the Supervisor of the English Language Department; Dr.Hana' Al-Utaybi, the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration for Educational Affairs; and female faculty members and students at the campus.
Dr. Sarah Al-Khuly began her visit by inaugurating the Campus Musala (the vast open area for Prayer), which was renovated by Dr. Suha Basiouni, the academic member at the College of Arabic Language and her students. Then she saw the final project of students from the Marketing Department under the supervision of Prof. Aisha Muzaffar, which included determining the needs of the client and working to meet them. She then looked at the different areas of the club, including the Digital Track Club, which adopted the slogan "Be happy" in an artistic and entertaining way. There was also the Book Club, where a collection of books from various genres was presented to enable the students to spend their leisure time productively. There was also the Entrepreneurship Club, which adopted the slogan "Be Happy with Ambassadors." Her Excellency was also introduced to the female students of the Student Council and saw their achievements. She then toured the "Our Ethics is the Secret of our Culture" exhibition, which is an activity made in the Islamic Culture Course by the female students of the College of Arabic Language, under the supervision of Ms. Abeer Abdul-Wahhab Awais. Then she moved to the Celebration Hall, where she met with the female students and faculty members and listened to their opinions and proposals with interest.
Dr. Salwa Al-Muhammadi ended the visit by thanking the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs for her attendance.
