Coinciding with Global Entrepreneurship Week, last week Al-Muallim Muhammad bin Laden Chair for Creativity and Entrepreneurship launched its first training camp as part of the Entrepreneurs Challenge Competition, which was organized in collaboration with Wadi Makkah. Fifty-four students participated in the camp, where they were introduced to ways of developing their entrepreneurial ideas and business models.
It is worth mentioning that the Entrepreneurs Challenge Competition is one of the initiatives through which the chair aims to disseminate a culture of entrepreneurship among the students. It also aims to qualify them academically by holding intensive training courses that will enable them to develop their entrepreneurial ideas and turn them into new companies. It is worth noting that the competition will last until the first week of the second semester of this academic year, and the participants will be engaged in three additional training camps that will be interspersed with qualifying stages for the participating teams until the closing ceremony.
His Excellency the Chair, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Falatah, expressed his happiness for the success of the first training camp, and his admiration for the creative ideas presented by the students and for their full interaction with the training workshops.
His Excellency confirmed that the chair will continue to carry out many activities and training and research programs in order to fulfill its objectives, which are in the interests of the creative and entrepreneurial community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
