Makkah Community College hosted 150 talented students from the schools in Makkah Al-Mukarramah on Sunday, 10 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., at 9 am in the King Abdullah hall, in Al-Abdiyyah Campus.
At the beginning, the Dean of the College, his Eminence Dr. Isam Bazarah, welcomed the students and pointed out that talented persons are those upon whom rests any renaissance, anywhere. They are tomorrow's scholars, and the pillars of advancement and the development movement. He added that the success of the developed countries is ascribed to such groups of students.
Then, the Vice Dean of Makkah Community College, Dr. Abdul-Mu`in Abdullah, and the Supervisor of the Innovation and Projects Unit, Dr. Ahmad Jalali, talked about innovation and innovators, how the creative idea begins and materializes, and the characteristics of innovators and inventors. They gave examples of scholars and innovators. Afterwards, students were given a chance to ask and discuss. This discussion gained the admiration of the attendants: the academic affiliates and the supervisors of the talented persons in the General Directorate of Education in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College promised that there would be other meetings as well as continuous cooperation with those students. Moreover, he invited them to participate in the Students Happiness Council at the College.
Finally, photos were taken of all the attendants.
